Games Research 3: Heart Rate Control in Exergames

In the article entitled Heart Rate Control of Exercise Video Games, the publishers of this document sought to demonstrate the positive uses of heart rate control in the attempt to create a more balanced approach when it comes to the competitiveness of two players who’s individual fitness levels vary.  In this study, thses scientists were able to show that when it comes to players with a fairly large gap in fitness level, the function of heart rate control allowed fro a more competitive game, asa compared to when used with two players of a closer fitness level.  While an interesting read and study, I don’t think I will be able to use this article very extensively when it comes to my paper, more like I will end up touching on this study very briefly within my paper.
